Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to quote requests, bookings, brokerage services, payment processing, dispatch coordination, and communications provided by Auto Bridge Transport. By requesting a quote, paying a deposit, or booking shipment services, you agree to these terms.
1. Brokerage Services
Auto Bridge Transport LLC is a vehicle transportation broker. Our role is to arrange shipment with third-party motor carriers and to coordinate logistics, communications, dispatch support, and customer service related to the vehicle transport order.
Auto Bridge Transport does not own or operate the trucks that physically transport vehicles unless expressly stated in writing. The assigned motor carrier is responsible for the physical transportation of the vehicle once the vehicle is accepted by the carrier.
2. Not a Marketplace or Payment Aggregator
Auto Bridge Transport is not a public marketplace for carriers or third-party sellers. Carriers do not create seller accounts on our website, list services for sale, or receive automatic marketplace payouts through our website payment processor.
Payments made through our website or payment links are made to Auto Bridge Transport for brokerage, dispatch coordination, customer support, and related transportation arrangement services. Carrier compensation, if applicable, is handled separately through Auto Bridge Transport’s internal dispatch and business process or according to the written dispatch agreement.
3. Due Diligence and Carrier Vetting
Auto Bridge Transport may provide due diligence services by reviewing available carrier information before dispatch. This may include reviewing operating authority, licensing, insurance information, carrier contact information, general carrier qualifications, and route availability.
Carrier availability and shipment timing may vary based on market conditions, route demand, weather, driver hours, equipment availability, road conditions, and operational constraints.
4. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on information provided by the customer, including pickup and delivery locations, vehicle year, make, model, condition, transport type, timing, route, and current carrier market conditions.
Final pricing may change if shipment details materially change, if the vehicle is inoperable, oversized, modified, difficult to access, or if carrier availability changes before dispatch confirmation.
5. Deposit and Payment Terms
Auto Bridge Transport may collect a deposit, broker fee, or service fee of no more than 25% of the total shipping cost to secure brokerage, dispatch, and carrier coordination services.
The remaining carrier balance, if any, may be paid directly to the assigned motor carrier at pickup or delivery depending on the written dispatch agreement and carrier payment terms. Customer payment expectations will be disclosed before dispatch confirmation.
Accepted payment methods and timing may be explained during booking. Customers are responsible for reviewing the payment amount, route, pickup/delivery details, and refund terms before authorizing payment.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
To qualify for a full refund of any deposit paid to Auto Bridge Transport, the customer must submit the cancellation request at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date and before a carrier has been assigned or dispatch services have been substantially performed.
Cancellation requests submitted within 48 hours of the pickup date, after a carrier has been assigned, after dispatch work has begun, or after services have been substantially performed may be subject to partial or no refund depending on dispatch status, carrier assignment, and work already performed.
If Auto Bridge Transport is unable to assign a qualified carrier within the agreed timeframe, the customer may request a refund or choose to continue waiting for carrier availability.
For more details, please review our Refund Policy.
7. Vehicle-Only Service and Prohibited Items
Auto Bridge Transport arranges transportation for vehicles only. Customers may not ship, store, conceal, or place prohibited items inside the vehicle. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, cannabis, CBD/THC products, or drug paraphernalia.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, weapons, or weapon accessories.
- Hazardous materials, chemicals, fuel containers, flammable items, combustible items, toxic materials, pesticides, or radioactive materials.
- Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine products, e-cigarettes, vapes, or other regulated products.
- Cash, jewelry, precious metals, negotiable instruments, checks, gift cards, payment cards, or high-value personal property.
- Live animals, plants, food, perishables, biological materials, or medical waste.
- Household goods, boxes, luggage, packages, or personal belongings unless expressly approved in writing by Auto Bridge Transport and the assigned carrier.
- Counterfeit goods, stolen property, stolen vehicles, vehicles connected to fraud, or vehicles the customer is not legally authorized to ship.
- Any product, cargo, or item that violates federal, state, or local law.
- Any item prohibited by the assigned carrier’s insurance, Bill of Lading, tariff, or transport policy.
Auto Bridge Transport and/or the assigned carrier may refuse, cancel, delay, or terminate transport if prohibited items are disclosed, suspected, or discovered. Auto Bridge Transport is not responsible for loss, damage, seizure, fines, penalties, or delays related to prohibited or undisclosed items.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup, delivery, vehicle, and contact information.
- Confirm that the customer is the vehicle owner or is legally authorized to arrange transport for the vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is prepared for transport, including removing personal items unless otherwise approved in writing.
- Maintain only a limited fuel level as instructed for transport.
- Disclose if the vehicle is non-operational, modified, oversized, lifted, lowered, leaking fluids, or has any special loading requirements.
- Be available or arrange for an authorized representative at pickup and delivery.
- Review the Bill of Lading at pickup and delivery and note any visible condition issues before signing.
9. Personal Property
Customers should not leave personal property in the vehicle unless specifically approved in writing by Auto Bridge Transport and the assigned carrier. Auto Bridge Transport is not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.
Personal items are generally not covered by carrier cargo insurance. Any approved personal items must be disclosed and may be subject to carrier restrictions, weight limits, and inspection.
10. Inspection, Damage Claims, and Transit Responsibility
The customer is responsible for inspecting the vehicle at pickup and delivery and for noting any visible damage on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auto Bridge Transport is not responsible for damage, loss, or claims arising while the vehicle is in transit with the motor carrier. Damage claims during transit must generally be pursued against the transporting carrier and its cargo insurance, subject to the Bill of Lading and applicable carrier terms.
11. Broker Limitations of Liability
Auto Bridge Transport, as a broker, is generally not liable for matters arising from the carrier’s performance during transport, including but not limited to:
- Damage, loss, or theft occurring while the vehicle is in the carrier’s possession.
- Mechanical, electrical, or operational issues discovered before, during, or after transport.
- Transit delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, breakdowns, route changes, or other operational issues.
- Acts or omissions of the motor carrier, driver, terminal, or third-party logistics participants.
- Items left inside the vehicle by the customer.
- Force majeure events, including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, public emergencies, or similar events beyond reasonable control.
12. Delivery Windows and Scheduling
Pickup and delivery dates are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Timing may change due to route conditions, driver hours, dispatch limitations, carrier operations, weather, safety considerations, traffic, or other circumstances outside the broker’s control.
13. Compliance, Sanctions, KYC, and Fraud Prevention
Auto Bridge Transport reserves the right to review, refuse, cancel, or delay any quote request, booking, or payment that appears suspicious, incomplete, unauthorized, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
Customer and Shipment Verification
We may verify customer identity, contact information, vehicle information, pickup and delivery details, proof of ownership or authorization to ship, and payment information when needed. Customers agree to provide accurate information and cooperate with reasonable verification requests.
Fraud Monitoring
We may review orders for fraud indicators, including mismatched customer information, suspicious payment activity, unusual pickup or delivery instructions, rushed shipment requests, high-risk vehicles, ownership concerns, or dispute patterns. We may cancel or refuse service if fraud, stolen property, identity misuse, or unauthorized payment activity is suspected.
AML and Sanctions Compliance
Auto Bridge Transport does not knowingly provide services to sanctioned individuals, sanctioned entities, prohibited jurisdictions, or parties restricted by applicable U.S. law. We may refuse or cancel service if we identify sanctions, money laundering, illegal activity, stolen vehicles, or other compliance concerns.
